Online Photo Sharing With Your Camera Phone

Ever since the very first person sent a set of pictures using email, people have been waiting for a way to share their digital photos online with their friends and family. For many people, sending photos through email is limited to just a few, or even one at a time. Many people with the same problem resulted in a solution – websites that offer photo storage so that you can either show your photos privately or share them with people around the world. The photos can then be used for either your personal or business blog. Once they are uploaded onto the photo sharing website, you never have to worry about clogging up your mom's email with baby pictures!

What You Can Do With Online Photo Sharing

Whether you like taking pictures with your digital camera, or your camera phone, you can put them up for display online. Photo sharing could be used for a number of other functions. There are quite a few sites that allow the user to tag their photos with keywords, such as classmates. If you're searching for a person you haven't talked to in quite some time, and you search for the name within the classmates tag, you just might see a photo of an old friend – or two! Maybe you post your family photos, and share them with all of the distant relatives you never have time to write to. Photo blogs would be very useful for posting scans of old family photos, and have other family members post current pictures of the younger members. This would be really useful if a person wanted to make a pictorial family tree, with pictures of several generations.

You could store all of your online dating photos. If you've got a few favorite pictures of yourself, and you want to share them with others, just post them and then direct your online crush to the photos you've posted! Photo sharing websites such as Flickr and Photobucket will host your pictures for free, making sharing your photos cheaper than a postage stamp, and faster than the postal service. Not only can you upload photos, but you can upload videos to your collection, and share your favorite pictures and videos together on one place. Some people even keep photos of the things that make them laugh, or use them to post on their favorite social networking site.

If you have a blog, these photo sharing sites can prove to be a great tool, hosting the photos for your blog. Pictures can set your business blog apart from the boring text you so often see. Photo blogs have recently become very popular, with Bloggers posting photos in chronological order, in true blog fashion. This is the same for videos, either of which can be used to take your visitors on a virtual travel tour, or follow you on a journey from Alaska to Florida in your flower painted VW bus. But taking a trip like that in a Volkswagen is not highly recommended, and don't force us to use your online photos to let people search for the transmission shop you're stuck in!
